ACCESSIBILITY POLICY
www.culturaft.ro
Version: 11 September 2026
1. CULTURAFT’s commitment
CULTURAFT aims to make the information and functionality published on www.culturaft.ro usable by as broad an audience as possible, including people who use assistive technologies or alternative methods of navigation.
2. Accessibility benchmark
In developing and improving the Website, CULTURAFT uses the principles of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 as a benchmark: content should be perceivable, interfaces operable, information understandable and implementation robust enough to support technologies and assistive tools.
Level AA is used as a good-practice objective for accessibility improvements. In the absence of a complete technical audit, this statement does not constitute certification or a formal claim that every page of the Website fully satisfies all WCAG 2.2 Level AA success criteria.
3. Principles pursued
- Clear and logical content structure.
- Readable text and appropriate contrast.
- Text alternatives for relevant visual content where possible.
- Ability to use essential functionality by keyboard where technically supported.
- Clear labels for fields and controls in the contact form.
- Link and navigation labels that indicate their purpose.
- Reasonable compatibility with modern browsers and assistive technologies.
4. Content that may have limitations
Some historical materials, third-party documents, PDF files, multimedia elements, images or external services may not provide the same level of accessibility as the Website’s main pages. CULTURAFT aims to address relevant issues where they are identified and are within the Association’s control.
5. Contact form
The contact form should provide users with sufficient information to complete its fields and submit a message. Accessibility problems encountered when using the form may be reported directly to office@culturaft.ro.
6. Feedback and requests for an accessible alternative
If you encounter an accessibility barrier, cannot access a particular resource or require information in a reasonable alternative format, please contact us at office@culturaft.ro.
To help us identify the issue, your message may include the page address, a description of the difficulty, the device or assistive technology used and the alternative format requested. Providing these details is optional.
7. Continuous improvement
Accessibility is treated as an ongoing process. Updates to design, content and functionality should also be assessed from the perspective of access for persons with disabilities, within applicable technical and operational constraints.
8. Statement date
This Policy was updated on 11 September 2026 and may be revised as the Website evolves or further accessibility assessments are carried out.
